Union Station

 

Union Station is an old train station in Seattle, WA, USA, it was built between 1910 and 1911. It was originally named Oregon and Washington Station.

 

 

 

Panama Hotel

 

The Panama Hotel was built in 1910 by Sabro Ozasa who was a Japanese Architect who graduated from the University of Washington. For many years, it has served as a home for generations of Japanese immigrants, Alaskan fisherman and International travelers.

 

 

 

Danny Woo Community Garden

 

 This is a place to unite community members from Seattle’s Chinatown/International District – both elderly and children. Events are also held here. The garden connects immigrant elders with their roots by providing space to practice agriculture that is familiar to them from their homelands.

It is very popular for Chinese Americans.

The Wing Luke Museum educates people about the Asian Pacific American Experience. It is related to the culture, art and history of Asian Pacific Americans .

Celebrating a Wedding

Celebrating weddings in Saudi Arabia differs from many countries in the world.

These are samples for palaces which we always celebrate in. It really cost people to rent for one night. It cost about $ 40,000 to $ 70,000 .

And here is women section because in our tradition women celebrate separately

Celebrating starts at 9:00 p.m. until 1:00 a.m. mostly

guests come to palace at this time greeting a groom and then sitting

My Seattle

Seattle is a such great place to study and to live. It has beautiful places to visit and to hang out with friends.

I live in South of Seattle with a host family who consists of four members. They are very respectful and generous.

Talking with my host family is one of most important things that I do in Seattle to help my English.

 I really like to visit with my friends and to visit and experience new places because Seattle has many wonderful attractions like the Museum of Flight.

Introduction

     Hello Everyone, my name is Ahmed and I have been living in Seattle since Summer 2013. I'm from Medina, Saudi Arabia which is located in the west of my country. I was born in Yanbu which is located in the west as well.

      I live with my family which consists of 11 members my father, mother, six sisters, and two brothers. My birth order is between my brothers and sisters, so I'm a middle child.


      I have a bachelor's degree of law, and I graduated in 2012 from Islamic University with honors. My goal is to be a professor at a university. Now, I'm here in United States to achieve my goal by studying English language first, and then to get a master's degree from an American university.

      In my free time, I like watching movies, going bowling, playing billiards, and surfing the internet.
